Catalog description

This course explores how religious traditions, past and present, have managed death and imagined the afterlife: from taking care of the dying, tidying up corpses, and assisting spirits in their journey from this world to the next, to banishing ghosts, accessing the power of those who have returned from the realms of the dead, and seeking out paths to immortality. Prereq: GE foundation writing and info literacy course.
