This course will examine the major problems facing urban communities in the 21st century; the economic, social, and political forces that have historically shaped--and continue to influence-- their development; the role of government in addressing urban problems; and the major p articipants and stakeholders in city politics. Prereq: Honors standing. Not open to students with credit for 4127 (505).
