Catalog description

Molecular bases of plant-microbe interactions ranging from how microbes cause disease to how plants defend themselves. Emphasis will be given to principles of pathogen virulence, recognition of pathogen, host target proteins, defense activation and signaling. Prereq: 3001 or Micrbio 4000.01 or MolGen 4500, or permission of instructor.
