Catalog description

Interventions Introduction to economic evaluation of pharmaceutical and other health care interventions, including cost-effectiveness and cost-benefit analysis, to measure the value of disease prevention and health care treatments and services. Students learn to evaluate costs and health outcomes, to interpret and appraise economic evaluations in the literature, and the use of decision analysis in health care. Prereq: Not open to students with credit for Phr 5402, 7402, or MCR 7402.
