Quest for the Cancer Cure

Catalog description

In this course we will discuss the ongoing quest for a cure for cancer, including recent investigations in how cancer is treated, prevented and detected in collaboration with Pelotonia: a local philanthropic organization with the mission to improve health outcomes in cancer patients by mobilizing the community of cancer patients, caregivers, and advocates to fundraise for cancer research. Prereq: Biology 1113 or equivalent.
