Catalog description

This course introduces students to the etiology, epidemiology, signs/symptoms, associated health conditions, prognosis, and medical management of individuals with mental and cognitive impairment. This class is for enrolled Occupational Therapy Students and is taught in a developmental course sequence as each course builds on content knowledge learned in previous occupational therapy courses. Prereq: Enrollment in the Doctorate in Occupational Therapy program.
