This course will describe how neurons and neural circuits process sensory information and control behavior. It will focus on explaining why neural circuits demonstrate specific organizational principles that are conserved through evolution and fundamental to nervous system function. It is intended to explain theory and provide practical examples through both lectures and interactive discussions. Prereq: Permission of instructor.
