The course introduces graduate and professional students to health literacy practice, policy, and research across the globe. The course will provide an overview of population-based heath literacy definitions and estimates from a global perspective. 7090 From Concept to Publication: Biomedical Manuscript G M 2 Writing Focuses on the craft, structure, and logistics of writing and publishing a manuscript in biomedical journals through progressive construction and iterative, incremental feedback. At the end of this course, students will have a completed manuscript ready (or nearly ready) for submission to a journal. Students must have a research project about which they can write a manuscript to enroll. Prereq: Enrollment in MD/DO or MD/PhD program; or permission of instructor; pre-existing research project for which the course's concepts will be applied.
