Introduction to turbulence in fluid mechanics with emphasis on understanding the physical mechanisms involved. Prereq: Grad standing in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering; or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for AeroEng 7875.01 or 7875.02; or to students in the Prof Masters in Applied Aeronautics program. Cross-listed in AeroEng 7875.01.
