Advanced Statistical Methods for Health and

Rehabilitation Sciences This course will facilitate skill development in advanced statistical methods commonly used in health and rehabilitation science. Students will be exposed to analytic strategies appropriate for each type of outcome variable (i.e., dichotomous, categorical, ordinal, and continuous variables) as well as various research designs (i.e., repeated measures vs. cross-sectional data). Prereq: Graduate-level data analytics course, or permission of the instructor. Students are expected to have: 1) proficiency with at least one statistical program (e.g., STATA, SPSS, R, SAS, MatLab, etc.); 2) solid foundational understanding of simple and multiple linear regression.
