Catalog description

This course examines the history of anatomy as a way of categorizing and explaining the relationships of parts to wholes in once living creatures, notably human beings. We focus on the history of anatomical observations, education, modes of communication, and professionalization. Team-taught course with faculty member in Anatomy. Prereq: Anatomy 2220, 2300, or 3300; or Grad standing; or permission of both instructors. Cross-listed in Anatomy.
