Catalog description

Diseases of Plants Plants are attacked by a multitude of pathogens and insects. Each plant in a production region has documented pests that can negatively impact plant health. Environment and production practices can influence the outcome of interactions between pathogens and pests. This is a beginning course for students to learn how to recognize signs and symptoms of economically important pathogens and insects. Prereq: 5600 or PlntPth 5603, or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for PlntPth 5060. Cross-listed in PlntPth.
