Catalog description

Students will read fiction, poetry, memoirs, songs, comics, and films that portray drug use and addiction. Through literature students will discover the history of the human experience with substance use and abuse, and learn how literary texts provide human beings with unique tools to describe, explain, and analyze the complicated relationship between people and drugs. Prereq: English 1110.xx; or GE foundation writing and info literacy course.
