Introduction to how Asian Americans as a whole and as specific ethnic groups have been racialized throughout U.S. history; examination of diverse Asian American experiences, cultural practices, and political viewpoints through gender, sexuality, class, immigrant status, dis/ability, and other social differences. Prereq: English 1110.XX, or GE foundation writing and info literacy course. Not open to students with credit for CompStd 2321. Cross-listed with CompStd.
