Catalog description

Engineering Introduces students to modern laboratory techniques for future career opportunities. Students will perform a series of experiments involving gene editing and DNA processing and data analysis linked with a focused research question. Through weekly laboratory sessions, students will produce a portfolio demonstrating mastery of course objectives through lab notebooks and video skill documentation. Prereq: 1112, 1113.xx, 1113E, or 1113H; and 1114.xx, 1114E or 1114H; or permission of instructor.
