Catalog description

Research and communication skills in an academic accounting context; the use of accounting information in capital markets; learn important empirical methods commonly used in accounting and finance literature; learn how the market efficiency hypothesis affects research and practice in finance, economics, and accounting; learn about the history and implementation of event studies. Prereq: Honors standing, a grade of B or better in 2200H, and Soph standing. Not open to students with credit for 4780H.
