Advanced Field Experience

Catalog description

The advanced field experience is designed to provide you with an opportunity to work with a mentor teacher to gain insight into: (1) lesson planning, teaching, and classroom management; (2) student learning, interests, and perspectives; (3) the requirements of being a professional e ducator; and (4) effectively bringing together the work done in a university classroom with work done in 7-12 Social Studies classrooms. Prereq: 3189.04, and admission to Integrated Social Studies BSEd licensure major. Not open to students with credit for EduTL 4189.04.
