Catalog description
Provides students with an intro to and appreciation of the ethical principles that underlie social work practice. Emphasis is placed on the historical, philosophical, and legal foundations giving rise to these ethical principles. Students will be exposed to the roles and skills expected of a social work leader, especially in the context of ethical decision-making and ethical dilemma resolution. Prereq: Admission to the MSW Program; Concur: 6501.
