Catalog description

Language Institute Advanced Spanish level students will learn and practice the foundational aspects of the profession of court interpreting, with special emphasis on its core ethical principles, protocols, terminology, and skills, as well as the professional identity and role of the court interpreter. This course is designed to produce certifiable Spanish-English/English-Spanish court interpreters. Prereq: 3403 or 3413; or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for CLLC 5104.
