Catalog description

In-depth theoretical and empirical questions driving the field of inequality, poverty, and social mobility in the 21st century will be explored. We will focus on class, race, and gender inequality in the US, though the course will also develop tools for understanding inequality and poverty across times and places. Prereq: Jr, or Sr standing; or permission of instructor or department.
