Examination of current and historical literature defining the molecular aspects that drive host- microbe-environment interactions. Students will participate in journal article discussions, e valuation of literature, and grant proposal writing and peer review. Prereq: 3001 or Micrbio 4000.01 or MolGen 4500, or permission of instructor.
