Citizenship This course allows participants to pursue philosophical questions at the intersection of race, education, and political life. These include: Does education play a very specific role in racialized patterns of benefit/detriment? What role does race play in understandings of educational policy & practice? How does race affect understandings of 'education for citizenship'? Prereq: Not open to students with credit for ESPHE 5440. Cross-listed in ESPHE.
