This course provides a fundamental overview of clinical trial design, methods, and regulation with an emphasis on medical product development, clinical trial protocols, preclinical research requirements, and the appraisal of published clinical trials. Prereq: Admission to the MS Pharmacology program, or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for Nursing, MCR, or Phr 7770.
