Catalog description
This course will introduce basic principles of neuroimaging methods and technologies as applied to human subject research. Focus will be on basic physics of neuroimaging, image production, and goals and limitations of different image modalities. It will discuss magnetic resonance spectroscopy, diffusion tensor imaging, positron emission spectroscopy, and functional MRI and their clinical use. Prereq: 5501, and 5502.
