Catalog description

This course provides a critical introduction to qualitative & cultural research methods within the field of African American & African Studies. It will focus specifically on Hip Hop culture, situating it within the larger context of African American Black music traditions. Students will explore research intent, design, methodology, format, & presentation through a Hip Hop lens. Prereq: Not open to students with credit for AfAmASt 3460. Cross-listed in AfAmASt.
