Catalog description

This course focuses on how to make good linguistic arguments. Students will analyze a range of ways in which arguments are constructed, learn to communicate linguistic information to specialist and general audiences, and acquire the skills to adopt and reflect on social and ethical standards in linguistics. Prereq: English 1110, or completion of GE Foundation Writing and Information Literacy course; and Ling 2000, 2000H, or English 3271.
