The assessment of leadership style is one of several core foci for intelligence analysts. It contributes to predictions of a leader's likely behavior. More importantly, it guides efforts, in particular diplomatic efforts, to influence the decisions of political, economic and military leaders. This course introduces students to key theories and research in the political psychology of leadership. Prereq: Soph standing or higher, or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for 5195 (Assessing Leadership Style).
