Catalog description

This course is a survey of the ways digital technology is impacting history: from the collection and preservation of primary sources, to the analysis of those documents with the aid of algorithms, to the representation of the past through digital means. Students will read and reflect upon important works in digital history, as well as engage in the process of creating digital history. Prereq: English 1110.xx, or permission of instructor.
