Medical Family Therapy in Couples and Family Therapy

Catalog description

This course is designed to introduce you to the theory, fundamentals, and practical applications of medical family therapy. Students will be able to identify medical specializations, terminology, assessments, collaborative models and case note formats common to medical settings. Application to diverse families in a variety of settings is discussed throughout the course. Prereq: Enrollment in HDFS Grad program, or permission of instructor.
