Catalog description

Field course on the study of reptiles and amphibians, with emphasis on tropical species identification, field techniques and methods, population ecology, and conservation strategies. Course will be conducted at a tropical field site such as the Biological Field Station El Zota, Tapezco, Costa Rica. Prereq: GPA of 2.5 or above, completion of 12 semester cr hrs of biological sciences, and Jr standing or above by autumn of enrollment; or permission of instructor.
