Interactive Animation

Catalog description

This course introduces students to advanced techniques for creating interactive animation using real-time 3D rendering software and a suite of 3D applications. Topics include narrative structure, cinematography for interactive media, asset integration, sound design, and collaboration practices. Students will conduct hands-on exercises and participate in discussions and project-based learning. Prereq: 4104; or ACCAD 5002 or 6002 ; or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for ACCAD 5104. Cross-listed in ACCAD. 5191 Internship U G 1½ - 9 Field application of design in a capacity requiring a close working relationship within a professional environment. Prereq: Grad standing, or enrollment in Design major; or permission of instructor. Repeatable to a maximum of 27 cr hrs or 3 completions.
