Catalog description

This course covers case studies in leadership from politics (local, state, and federal), business, education, and other key areas of civic life. Students use scholarship from diverse disciplines to explore: what makes for healthy or unhealthy civic leadership? How have American leaders successfully channeled ideals of equality, individualism, and freedom into constructive, civic- minded projects?
