Catalog description

This course examines competing understandings of citizenship through an interdisciplinary examination of the dramatic rise of book banning in recent years. By reading banned books and examining the debates surrounding them, we establish important connections between diversity, justice, and citizenship. Prereq: English 1110 or equiv; or GE foundation writing and info literacy course; or permission of instructor.
