Catalog description

Economy is a fundamental dimension of cities and urban planning, and we need to understand what causes economic growth or development. This course will introduce some major theories of regional economic development. How the public sector can facilitate this economic development is another important question, and we will assess some policy tools and their effectiveness. Econ 2001 credit recommended.
