Catalog description

Key technologies of industrial biopharmaceuticals (protein, cellular and gene therapies) will be introduced: therapy development, unit operations, bioprocessing, biomanufacturing, GLP, cGMP, quality control, clinical trials, and FDA regulations. Prereq: 2200; or BiomedE 2000; or Biochem 2210; or Biology 3401; or MolGen 2690; or Grad standing in Engineering; or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for BiomedE 5830. Cross-listed BiomedE 5830.
