Catalog description

An exploration of university system structures focused on academia's "hidden" curriculum - unstated norms, policies, and expectations for applicants applying at institutions of higher ed ucation. Subjects include the C.V., teaching demonstrations, the interview process, course discursive evaluations and an examination of Deaf culture values and professionalism as they relate to academia. Prereq: Enrolled in the ASL Elementary-Level Teaching Certificate, or permission of instructor.
