This course is intended to familiarize students with experimental and non-experimental research designs and requisite empirical methods for causal impact assessment as well as related issues that arise in the practice of field research in development including sampling, survey development, and ethical considerations. Prereq: 7140, Econ 8714, and 8732; or permission of instructor.
