Practical Learning and Mining for Big Data

Catalog description

Building on computational and interpretative skills in data analytics and computing foundations, students will explore practical ways to create data mining and machine learning workflows. Students will learn to mine associations and patterns, to classify, and build predictive models and recommendation systems for data and questions in the context of enterprises. Prereq: 5401, 5402, 5621, and 5622.
