Introduction to Clinical Anesthesia

Catalog description

This course will serve as a generalized orientation to the clinical anesthesia environment. The continuum of perioperative nurse anesthesia care, from preoperative evaluation to induction, maintenance, and emergence of anesthesia, including postoperative care will be introduced. Clinical anesthesia skills will be introduced through an on-site intensive session. Prereq: Enrollment in the DNP program nurse anesthesia track, and Nursing 7445.
