Standard modern Korean: development of listening and speaking skills; basic grammar; reading and writing of the Korean script (hangul). Individualized Track. Prereq: Not open to students with credit for 101.51, 102.51, or to native speakers of this language through regular course enrollment or EM credit; or to students with 3 or more years of study in this language in high school, except by permission of dept. Repeatable to a maximum of 4 cr hrs or 4 completions.
