Underserved Populations Provides students the opportunity to collaborate with students from other health care professions including pharmacy, health and rehabilitation sciences, nursing, medicine and social work. The students will use a problem-based learning approach to patient care in community health, focusing on populations, living in poverty, with complex healthcare needs. Prereq: Enrollment in Medical Dietetics, Medical Laboratory Science, or Respiratory Therapy major, or Grad standing in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, AlliMed, or HthRhSc; or permission of instructor.
