Catalog description

Metabolic diseases influence almost every major chronic illness we face today (i.e. cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer, etc.). This course provides an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors in the development of major chronic conditions and identifies the role of personalized nutrition in the prevention and treatment of these conditions. Prereq: 7761, or permission of instructor.
