Catalog description

This course will serve as a general introduction to the principles of plant breeding. Plant breeding is central to anyone who works with plants as most cultivated plants have been impacted using breeding approaches. We will examine concepts relevant to students in plant breeding, genetics, crop sciences, and allied fields of plant pathology and entomology. Prereq: 4325 or 5325. Not open to students with credit for 7625.
