Catalog description

Course explores fundamental elements of aviation geography and its historical and contemporary evolution across various geographical scales, emphasizing operational aspects of airlines and airports in a geographical context (airline network models and airport catchment). This course explores policies, regulations, and industry trends impacting air transportation, including tech and sustainability. Completion of Aviatn 2000, and Geog 2400.01, or Geog 2400.02 is recommended and preferred to gain foundational understanding of concepts applied in this course.
