This will be a highly interactive course with several simulations and action-based learning exercises throughout the semester. Students will learn about leadership characteristics and the environment in which some characteristics thrive while others falter. The student will learn about their own leadership style including gaps they may have and how to bridge those gaps. Prereq: Enrollment in MHRM program. 7308 Organizational Change & Project Management G 1½ - 3 The primary focus for this course is the nature of change within organizations (of all types). Any discussion of organization change also benefits from at least some discussion of organization design and development. The course will examine the nature and implementation of organization change itself. 7310 Labor Relations G 1½ Examination of the basic elements of labor-management relations, including the process and content of collective bargaining. Prereq: Not open to students with credit for 861or 864.
