Catalog description
Students will understand the fundamentals of accounting (managerial and financial) and finance. The course will cover defining financial data, transforming data into information and leveraging financial information to make financial decisions. Students will have hands-on experience with various types of real-world financial data and build a detailed discounted cash flow model. Prereq: Enrollment in SMB-Analytics program. 7193 Individual Studies G ½ - 9 Individual study projects in related areas of finance. Prereq: Permission of instructor. Repeatable to a maximum of 12 cr hrs or 3 completions. This course is graded S/U.
