Animal Models and Mechanistic Research Design

Catalog description

The course will provide fundamental principles in establishing effective research hypotheses, aims, and design strategies for mechanistic and applied research using animals and animal models. A focus on research protocols, outcomes, inferences, and reporting will be developed and reinforced through student evaluation of primary literature and student interactions. Prereq: 7789 or HumnNtr 7789. Not open to students with credit for HumnNtr 7790. Cross-listed in HumnNtr.
