Catalog description

Intermediate orbital mechanics with coverage of advanced solution methods of the two-body problem, the two-body two-point boundary value problem, initial orbit determination and statistical orbit determination (IOD-OD), and foundations of non-Keplerian motion including the three-body problem and orbital perturbations. Prereq: AeroEng 3522 and MechEng 2030; or Grad standing in Engineering; or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for AeroEng 5626.
