Catalog description

This course provides studies and hands-on practices with theory and applications of automation and controls in manufacturing systems. Students take this course as a project-based senior level class to advance their knowledge and skills in automation and system integration based on previous program classes. Topics include advanced programmable logic controller, industrial robotics, system communication, Human-Machine Interfacing (HMI), integration and system troubleshooting.
