Catalog description

This broad introductory level course in special education is for students with little or no background and experience in this area. The course is appropriate for students from various fields that are related to education and for those who are simply interested in and curious about learners who receive services and supports under IDEA. The course presents a brief general overview of learners who receive services and supports along with educational and social issues that surround them. Not for education majors.
